According to Deadline, Reed's departure was a creative decision, but confusion remained over how the character would be portrayed from the show. Well, in the Season 3 premiere, Kellett said goodbye to the Fly Team and said she decided to transfer to a field office in Washington, D.C., to deal with the grief of her sister's death.
She was seen off by her ex-lover and colleague Scott (Luke Kleintank), who said a heartfelt farewell to her at the train station. How will the team survive without one of its key agents? Fortunately, the timing seems good for Christina Wolf to make a new appearance as Special Agent Amanda Tate, and we'll see how she plays. I can't wait to see who gets in on the action.
The new series is a new addition to the already popular FBI series from “Law & Order” producer Dick Wolf. Following the original His FBI series and His FBI: Most Wanted, FBI: International follows the elite operatives of the FBI's “Fly Team,” a special investigation team that neutralizes threats to the United States from its scenic base in Budapest. track officials.

Led by Agent Scott Forrester, the team has already spent the past two seasons dealing with global criminal and terrorist threats, as well as the bureaucratic red tape that comes with serving in a foreign country. That also means they can't brandish guns. As well as the US-based company.
With the new series already starting in the US, here's everything you need to know about the upcoming third season of FBI: International.
FBI: International Season 3 Release Date: When Will It Air?
Last year's now-resolved writers' and actors' strike delayed production on the series (and most U.S. television shows) for several months, but FBI: International will air on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 9 p.m. on CBS and returned to American screens.
The new series premiered on the same night between FBI and FBI: Most Wanted, marking a heavy dose of FBI series. FBI: International Season 3 episodes are currently airing weekly on CBS.
While a US release date has been set, a UK release date has yet to be confirmed, so we'll have to wait and see when UK fans will be able to get their fix. However, the series will likely be available to watch in the UK via Sky and NOW.
FBI: International Season 3 Cast – Who's Coming Back?

Although Season 2 ended on a major cliffhanger that could spell doom for at least one character (more on that later), most of the main cast will return for Season 3.
However, in perhaps surprising news for fans, Heida Reed, who has served as the show's second-in-command since its inception, is leaving the series. Reed exited the series in the season 3 premiere episode, explaining to the team that he was transferring to an office in Washington, D.C.
The team was surprised by the news, but Reid explained that after her sister June died, she promised to “live her life for both of us.” She says she is moving to Budapest because she feels like she is escaping her grief. Return to the US.
However, we already know that a new character has been confirmed to be joining the series, with Christina Wolf joining the new season as series regular Special Agent Amanda Tate.
The cast for season 3 is as follows.
Luke Kleintank (Special Agent Scott Forrester) Vinessa Vidot (Special Agent Cameron Vaugh) Eva-Jane Willis (Megan “Smitty” Garretson) Carter Redwood (Special Agent Andre Raines) Christina Wolfe (Special Agent Amanda Tate)
Fans are also hoping for the return of Tank the dog, especially since he didn't have as many appearances in the second season as he did in the first season. The giant schnauzer, played by a dog named Green, appeared in the season 2 finale. So here's hoping he survives the events of that episode and comes back wagging his fluffy tail in season 3.

If you haven't watched FBI: International Season 3 yet, be warned, it contains spoilers.
The final episode of season 2 ended on an explosive cliffhanger, which meant anything could happen in season 3.
After stopping a stolen Russian nuclear missile from being sold on the black market, the team faces an attack on their office in Budapest – an explosion that destroys the building. The only two members of Fly Team who were definitely outside at the time of the explosion were Raines and (phew!) the dog Tank.
When the bomb exploded, Raines was caught in the force of the explosion as he was running toward the building, leaving his fate on a cliffhanger for season 3. Although his leg was amputated, Raines survived and underwent major surgery on his leg. But that means the team will fire his agent while Reigns works a desk job for the time being as he needs rehab.
The new series will be Matt Olmsted's first series as showrunner after FBI: International creator Derek Haas stepped down as showrunner. Haas served as the series' showrunner for the first two seasons, but left at the end of season two, announcing the news in November 2023. Haas said: We are committed to bringing you great episodes of Chicago Fire and FBI: International through the end of the current season.
“I learned everything I know about storytelling, pacing, characters, directorial values, and hiring the best cast, crew, and crew from Dick Wolf and Peter Jankowski. It's very difficult to leave the place I've called home, but I look forward to building my brand in entertainment over more than a decade, including great support from Universal Television, NBC and CBS.”
