Every year, Filipinos look forward to Holy Week as a time to reflect and reunite with their families and loved ones. Whether attending religious activities or going on a well-deserved vacation, every fan should be able to experience comfortable air travel.
Since airports are expected to be crowded during this time, here are some precautions from Cebu Pacific to make your air travel more comfortable.
1. Arrive at the airport on time
Cebu Pacific and Cebugo passengers should allow time for traffic jams heading to the airport. The passenger must arrive at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminals 3 and 4 at least three hours before departure for domestic flights and four hours before departure for international flights. Passengers traveling to Dubai can check in up to 7 hours before their departure.
2. Online check-in
Avoid long lines at the airport by checking in through the official CEB mobile app or the Manage Reservations section of the CEB website. Both options are available from 48 hours to 1 hour before scheduled departure for domestic flights and up to 4 hours before scheduled departure for international flights.
If you check in online and do not have checked baggage, please enter through NAIA Terminal 3 Gate 1 and proceed directly to your boarding gate. Simply present your digital boarding pass to enter.
3. Creation of e-travel form
For a smooth process at the immigration counters, international passengers can register or update their e-travel form within 72 hours or 3 days before departure and arrival in the Philippines and save the QR code generated at the end of the form. We recommend that you do so. shape.
For round-trip international flights, passengers must complete the eTravel form twice. The first time is for the departure flight and the second time is for the arrival flight.
eTravel forms can be created by visiting www.etravel.gov.ph.
4. Pack properly
Passengers can board their flights with one carry-on bag that fits in the overhead bin and one personal item, such as a handbag, small backpack, or laptop bag, that fits under the seat in front of them. Both bags must not weigh more than 7kg. Baggage exceeding the permitted size or weight will be collected at the boarding gate and a fee will be levied.
5. Checked baggage policy
Passengers are encouraged to purchase prepaid baggage online through CEB's website or mobile app to save on fees. CEB has recently tightened its baggage policy, allowing a passenger to carry up to 3 pieces of 20kg baggage for her.
For each piece of baggage purchased, passengers can also add an additional 4kg, 8kg or 12kg weight allowance on top of the initial 20kg.
Passengers can save money by pre-purchasing their baggage allowance or excess baggage online, making it up to four times cheaper than airport charges.
Customers can purchase prepaid baggage when booking their flight or add baggage allowance using the CEB website's booking management portal or mobile MyCebuPacific account up to two hours before departure.
6. Self-tag baggage for some domestic destinations
Passengers departing from select domestic destinations (Manila, Davao, Clark, Cagayan de Oro, General Santos, Bohol, Iloilo, Siargao, Zamboanga) will be required to self-tag their check-in baggage in advance at designated kiosks at the airport. Thank you. Please proceed to the baggage drop counter.
7. Check flight information and closing times
Check-in counters close 45 minutes before scheduled departure for domestic flights and 1 hour before scheduled departure for international flights to allow sufficient time for necessary pre-flight formalities. After checking in, we recommend passing through immigration and final security immediately to avoid delays. Boarding begins 45 minutes before scheduled departure.
The latest flight information can be found at www.cebupacificair.com/flight-status.
8. Check your flight's airport terminal assignment
Passengers must confirm their itinerary and boarding pass before proceeding to their designated airport terminal. His Cebu Pacific Air flight 5J departs from his NAIA Terminal 3 and his Sebgo (DG) flight to and from Manila operates from his NAIA Terminal 4 located on Pasay City Domestic Road.
