King Charles took a surprise walk outside Windsor Castle after Easter service to address well-wishers.
The service was the king's most high-profile public appearance since he was diagnosed with cancer in February.
Prince Charles then surprised onlookers by greeting the assembled public, who later said Charles “looked well” and “was in good spirits”.
A Buckingham Palace source told the Telegraph that doctors had changed their guidance for the monarch after he had a “very encouraging” response to cancer treatment.
