In a media release Thursday, Interior Health issued a drug advisory for the West Kootenay region after samples of Down tested positive for high concentrations of fluorofentanyl and bromazolam.
Interior Health advises the public to remember that fluorofentanyl is as potent or more potent than fentanyl and benzodiazepines and can cause amnesia and sedation.
