Friday has arrived. And TNW brings you a weekly roundup of tech news from our glorious homeland.
This week has seen advances in medical technology, quantum breakthroughs and calls for further revitalization of the Dutch chip industry. We've shared some of our highlights, but we'd also love to hear your thoughts on the local ecosystem.
If you want to introduce your startup, share some digital tips, or just want us to tell you your deepest, darkest secrets, get in touch with us.
In the meantime, let's move on to the news.

Dutch startup of the week: Vitestro

Blood tests can be an unpleasant experience for many people (myself included), but they are key to medical diagnosis, determining 60-70% of doctors' decisions.
However, a shortage of skilled testing professionals is increasing pressure on the healthcare system.
Utrecht-based Vitestro has a solution: a robotic blood collection device.
The startup's device uses infrared light, ultrasound, and AI to autonomously draw blood with submillimeter precision.
This week, Vitestro raised €20 million to bring its products to hospitals. You can read our coverage here.
Featured TNW Conference Speakers
Each week, one of our writers will share top tips about the TNW conference. Today's recommendation is by Thomas Macaulay.
One of the highlights of my conference was combining my two great passions: sports and technology. What unites them is Antonio Felix, the world champion of Formula E, the gasoline-powered electric car cousin of Formula 1, and his Costa.
Da Costa is not only an elite driver, but also an expert in the electrification and digitalization of cars.
From automation software to fast-charging EV batteries, automakers are constantly testing the latest innovations in race cars. This gives da Costa unique insight into future vehicles.
Da Costa shared some of these insights in a March interview with TNW. In a conference talk on June 21st, da Costa will completely pull back the curtain on tomorrow's cars.
That's it for this week's summary. Until next Friday, Tot Jien!
