Kensington Palace announced on Wednesday, June 12, that Prince William, 41, will attend the UEFA Euro 2024 group stage match between England and Denmark on June 20. The match will be played at Deutsche Bank Park, a 58,000-seat stadium in Frankfurt that will host five UEFA Euro 2024 matches.
William also serves as chairman of the Football Association, the governing body of football in England.
Prince Charles just visited the team at St. George's Park in Burton-upon-Trent to wish them luck before they depart for the quadrennial tournament, and the England team shared a video of the visit via X, in which Prince William spoke to the team.

Prince William wasn't the only royal to offer advice to the team: He shared messages from his children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, who each shared their thoughts during a recent school drive.
“The best advice I've ever received is to eat twice as much as you normally would,” William told the team, as Louis had told him, “so I can see you guys running around with big bellies. So maybe it's best not to take your littlest sibling's advice at face value, especially when it comes to the physiotherapy team.”

He previously shared a funny golfing accident from his childhood.
“I was playing golf with a friend and I got hit by a golf club,” he told BBC Newsround in 2018. “We were on the putting green and the next thing I knew, out of nowhere, a seven-iron came flying and hit me in the head.”
The accident left him with a scar on his forehead which he likened to Harry Potter's scar, adding that it sometimes glows, and he cited the scar this week as the reason he is currently not playing golf.
