Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has offered his rival, incumbent President Joe Biden, the opportunity to redeem himself in front of the world in a debate this week – and also challenged him to a round of golf.

“I’m now formally offering Joe Biden an opportunity to redeem himself in front of the whole world,” Trump, 78, said at a campaign rally in Florida.
Let’s have another debate this week so that sleepy Joe Biden can prove to the world that he has what it takes to be president, he said.
But this time, there will be no moderator, no restrictions, just man-to-man action – anytime, anywhere, just say where, Trump added.
After his poor performance in the June 27 presidential debate in Atlanta, Democratic candidate Biden has been called on even by colleagues in his own party to drop out of the race, a call he has rejected.

At the same rally, Trump challenged Biden to an 18-hole golf game.
“I now officially challenge Joe to an 18-hole game of golf,” he said.
“If he wins, I’ll donate $1 million to a charity of his choice, any charity of his choice. And I’m willing to bet he won’t accept that offer. This fight proves Joe is all talk and no action,” Trump said.
The Biden campaign rejected both challenges.
“Joe Biden has no time for Donald Trump’s bizarre behavior. He is busy leading America and defending the free world. Donald Trump is a liar, a convicted fraudster and a con man who only acts in his own interest,” said Biden-Harris 2024 Press Secretary James Singer.
Donald Trump hasn’t been seen in public for 12 days, but now he’s hosted a fictional serial killer for dinner, mocked Marco Rubio, praised Project 2025 architect Tom Homan and challenged the president of the United States to a round of golf. “We asked Donald Trump to create jobs, and he lost three million,” he said.
