In addition, crews will close “various ramps” at the Soquel Drive and 41st Street interchange. Caltrans noted that two consecutive on-ramps or off-ramps are never closed at the same time. The current work is part of a larger project that includes adding auxiliary lanes, improving bus shoulders, and adding new crosswalks for bicycles and pedestrians.
