Drop-in services for young people suffering from mental health issues have doubled every month since their launch.
The Milton Keynes youth shelter, run by Mind BLMK, opened in January for anyone between the ages of 14 and 18 who is facing crisis or hardship.
The CAMHS Eaglestone Health Center is open daily from 16:00 to 22:00 for young people to attend after school.
“They can talk about how they're feeling, the struggles they're having, anything,” said Lucy Foley, the center's delivery manager.

“Many young people in our schools and communities are struggling with their mental health,” MX Foley said.
“It is important to know that suffering is highly subjective and there is no scale to measure mental health problems or difficulties.”
The service is already making a difference, with seven young people taking part in February, which doubled to 14 in March and 20 in April.
“We help young people overcome problems such as self-harm, problems with peer groups and low mood,” they added.
The young people helped said, “I came to the hospital feeling very depressed, but after the session I felt better.
“I never realized that that coping mechanism was actually helpful,” they said.

The team also works with schools, community centers and wellbeing fairs, with Michael Green dedicated to youth mental health support work.
“We're out in the community talking and engaging with parents. We're meeting young people in their world,” they said.
They added that while it may feel “daunting” to some, you should always reach out and “talk to someone.”
“If you can't talk to us, talk to a friend, a trusted adult, a parent, anyone. But reach out and share it with someone.”
They said every step of the assistance was explained to them “to ensure they get the support they need.”
