Exodus Adventure Travels announced that Krista Rothfuchs has joined the company as business development manager for Ontario and Manitoba, effective June 10. Rothfuchs retired from her position with Air Canada Vacations' ACV@Home program on Friday after 12 years with the company.
“I am leaving a positive environment and a successful sales team, but I am excited to help build a brand and business that is renowned across North America,” she told TravelPulse Canada.
In his new role, Rothfuchs will work with Exodus Adventure Travels' trade team to grow brand awareness in Canada, particularly in Ontario and Manitoba. Exodus currently has agents on both the east and west coasts.
“Exodus Adventure Travels has really done a great job of getting their name out there, and I look forward to building on that legacy and establishing a strong presence in the North American B2B community.”
Rothfuchs said he's excited to learn all about the new product, and that although it's a transition from what he's used to, he's excited about the adventurous BDM niche.
“Exploring new places is exciting – every time I've been to a 'new' country, I've always fallen in love with it. Plus, experiencing a new destination with a small group of like-minded travelers from all over the world is always an absolute pleasure.
This seems like a perfect fit.”
