According to dangerousroads.com, one road has earned the title of scariest road in New Jersey. Clinton Road in West Milford, Passaic County, New Jersey, is a road that is infamous for having a lot of very strange things happen to it.
There have been numerous reports of strange happenings on this road at night. According to dangerousroads.org, many scary occurrences have taken place on this road, including “Satanic rituals, ghost sightings, and hellhound sightings.”
This infamous New Jersey road has earned a reputation as one of the spookiest in the U.S. This haunted road is a 10-mile stretch of paved road, and those who have driven along it say it feels like it takes forever to drive along it.
The road is located in a densely wooded area with few residential, commercial or access roads. It is home to many spooky stories, including the tale of Castle Cross.
It was built near the road in 1905 and burned down just 14 years later, and legend has it that if you get too close, you may see ghostly activity near the site.
There are accounts of sightings of ghosts, strange creatures, covens of witches, and many other chilling sights. If you're feeling a little scared and want to drive down Clinton Road yourself, it's located on Route 23 in West Milford, New Jersey.
