“I wrote this story as a way to teach young children about food allergies in a way that was respectful of allergens but not scary,” Hoyt said. “I also wanted to teach children that they have the power to be heroes and show grace through forgiveness.”
Recently named “Practical Champion of the Year” by the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI), Dr. Hoyt is board certified in allergy and immunology, pediatrics, and internal medicine, and has a passion for working with families and loved ones.
