Cannes 2024: The Cannes Film Festival, one of the world's most prestigious film festivals, opened in France on May 14th. Cannes is known for screening a wide variety of films, spectacular red carpet appearances, and hosting dignitaries from around the world. The best of the world's film industry travels to Cannes each year, and the films shown are carefully selected and star-studded. India will also be participating in the film festival this year. Representatives from the Indian government, state governments and the film fraternity will travel to Cannes to participate in the film festival. India will also host Bharat Prav in Cannes this year. Bharat Parv will serve as a platform for the Indian film fraternity to undertake several activities to accelerate the introduction of Indian films in global forums.

Food menu for Bharat Parv in Cannes 2024:
Appetizers: makai masri, puran poli tart, praung var masala tart, lal mas pao. For the main course, there's moily with asparagus and butternut squash and fresh coconut milk. The mushroom bhutwa and potato forms are inspired by the homes of Uttarakhand. Main courses also include lamb yakhni with Kashmiri fennel, cardamom-garnished yogurt-based gravy, served with morel miso rice and cutram.

Dinner: Jicama and coconut malai momos with passion fruit thukpa, ponka and burnt corn chat. Kad Sweet Potato with Malabar Paratha, Kad Turbot with Malabar Paratha, Black Garlic Pulao with Fresh Toor Dal and Kashmiri Morel are vegetarian options. For non-vegetarian guests, black garlic pulao with fresh toor dal and lamb is available.
Dessert: There is a dessert called cacao, which uses all parts of the fruit and is served inside the ripened shell of the fruit. Melon rabri and cacao roselle sorbet are also served as desserts.
