Vancouver is home to many great foodie events, and this week is no exception.
From pet painting parties to Filipino feasts, here are four must-see foodie events in and around Vancouver.
CowDog Brewing Grand Opening x Paint Party Vancouver
Have you ever wanted to paint your own pet? Now's your chance. CowDog is partnering with Paint Party Vancouver for the grand opening. Just send us a photo of your pet before the event and our artist will pre-trace your pet's outline. On the day of the event, you can visit the venue and draw to your heart's content. We also have limited edition coasters that can be customized with provided paints.
Additionally, CowDog is launching two new beers to celebrate: Axolotl Watermelon and Lemonshark Lemon Meringue. Both are tea infusions, with the oolong tea infused with watermelon oolong tea and the lemon shark infused with fruity herbal tea. Both teas are from Once Upon a Tea Leaf. This is a great opportunity to support Vancouver's new local breweries.

Check out this delicious pop-up serving pulutan, aka Filipino bar snacks. Menu options include kare-kare flavored beef tongue skewers, blood sausage skewers, smoky yellowfin tuna kinilaw (the Filipino version of ceviche), and grilled pork dinak dakan (similar to sisig, but bigger). The menu is served in a large plate format, so everyone can enjoy a small portion.

The Palm Cafe Surfside Pop-up
Surfside, an immersive California-inspired pop-up experience, is coming to Guildford Mall. Here you'll find palm trees, surfboards, waves, and the special treat of Abbotsford Palm His Cafe. Summery drinks are also available, including a special Iced Coconut Dream drink created especially for Surfside. A beverage made with espresso and white chocolate topped with coconut sweet cream cold foam.

Richmond Night Market officially opens for the 2024 season, so get your appetite ready! He's always amazed by the wide selection of food and drinks offered at the market, and market organizers say he can check out more than 600 items from 110 booths and food trucks.
