Tokyo-born, Milan-raised Emanuele Accame will be appointed Director of Food & Beverage at Four Seasons Hotel Seoul in May 2024. With a cross-cultural mindset and experience spanning three continents, Emanuele has always been inspired by the universal power of food to bring people together and enjoys all the connecting elements within each of the restaurants he oversees.
Emanuele holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality Management from Glion Institute of Advanced Studies in Switzerland. His Four Seasons career began with an internship at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi, an exciting first step that led to his graduation in 2013 and participation in the Food & Beverage Management Training Program at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay.
After completing his training and being promoted to Assistant Restaurant Manager, he joined the pre-opening team of the Four Seasons Resort Oahu in Ko Olina, Hawaii. From the Hawaiian Islands, he moved to the Egyptian capital to become the pre-opening manager of Bullona Cairo, a sophisticated Milanese concept restaurant and bar at the Four Seasons Hotel Nile Plaza. From North Africa, he returned to Asia and traced his Japanese roots to join the pre-opening team of the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo in Otemachi. During his nearly four years in Tokyo, the hotel's VIRTU Bar was named one of Asia's 50 Best Bars and est restaurant maintained one Michelin star, two Wine Spectator awards and three Gault & Millau Guide hats.
Moving from fast-paced Tokyo to multicultural Seoul, where he is responsible for eight restaurants, bars, lounges and the seasonal Garden Terrace at Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, is no easy feat. But for an agile and innovative leader like Emanuele, it's the height of excitement. Inspired by Korean cuisine's cultural association with warmth and community spirit, he's eager to share the rich historical traditions and bubbling creative melting pot of his new Gwanghwamun hub.
