LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – Calcasieu Parish's summer food program providing meals to hungry children will begin on Monday, June 3rd.
All children 18 and under will receive free lunch on a first-come, first-served basis at each location in the parish.
Registration is not required, and program participation requirements are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, or disability.
The site will be closed on Wednesday, June 19th in observance of the Juneteenth holiday and on Thursday, July 4th in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.
Meals will be provided at the following locations through July 26th, Monday through Friday, 11:30am to 12:30pm:

Huntington St., SulphurHamilton Christian Academy, 1415 8th St., Lake CharlesLaGrange High School, 3420 Louisiana Ave., Lake CharlesMLK Center, 2009 Simmons St., Lake CharlesMoss Bluff Middle School, 297 Park Road, Moss BluffSulphur Housing Authority, 312 Brooks St., SulphurSulphur High School 9th ​​Grade Campus, 600 Willow Ave., SulphurWashington Marion High School, 2802 Pineview St., Lake CharlesWestlake Multipurpose Facility, 1221 Sampson St., WestlakeWestern Heights Elementary School, 1100 Elizabeth St., WestlakeWT Henning Elementary School, 774 Henning Drive, Sulphur.
Additionally, the following locations will also be serving breakfast from 8am to 9am:
Iowa High School, 401 W. Miller Ave., Iowa JI Watson Elementary School, 215 N. Kinney Ave., Iowa Western Heights Elementary School, 1100 Elizabeth St., Westlake Westlake Multi-Purpose Complex, 1221 Sampson St., Westlake
All food must be consumed on-site. Food may not be taken off-site.
