The Libyan Export Promotion Center (LEPC) confirmed yesterday that Al Dafniya Food Industrial Complex, part of Wiba Industrial Group, has exported its first food products to the EU, specifically to France.
First exports to the European market
In a statement about the achievement yesterday, Al Dafniya said: “Following the achievement of Al Dafniya Food Industrial Complex, one of the largest industrial hubs in the African market and neighbouring countries, the first shipment of its products has arrived in France, marking the Group's first export to the European market.”
Part of the export plan
The move comes as part of measures taken by the Group to develop its export plans and move forward towards best opportunities and new prospects for trade transactions in the global market.
Compliance with international and local standards
The export of Al Dafniya's products demonstrates the quality of products manufactured with the latest mechanisms and food processing technologies and their compliance with international and local standards.
ISO Certification
The complex's products are certified with international standards ISO 9001 and ISO 22000, as well as the Libyan Quality Certificate, which are comparable to those on the global market, contributing to increasing exports, developing Libyan industry and highlighting the role and potential of the private sector, which in turn leads to increased investment opportunities and cooperation in many other areas.”
