NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. – Bright sunshine, music blasting from the speakers and a cold beer: all the ingredients for a perfect summer day.
This is the atmosphere Suzanne Bonham has created for her restaurant brand, The Yardery.
“We always wanted to offer an outdoor concept that would evoke childhood backyard memories,” Bonham told News 6.
Yardery currently has two stores in Sanford and Mount Dora, but it was recently announced that the brand plans to open a third location in New Smyrna Beach.
“This location is special not only for its beautiful setting, but also for the opportunity to be part of the vibrant New Smyrna Beach community. We look forward to hosting local events, introducing a unique menu and creating a memorable experience for our guests,” Bonham said in a prepared statement.

The new store is expected to open in 2025, Bonham said. Additionally, Bonham and her team have plans to build five more stores across Florida, with an eye on expanding into the Tampa area.
Meanwhile, each store is spacious, with the New Smyrna Beach location dedicating about 11,000 square feet to garden space and 2,000 square feet to a rooftop bar. The garden space will be used for outdoor dining, games like football and cornhole, tire swings and more.
