Latest News Today Live: India Meteorological Department issues rain advisory for Delhi
The India Meteorological Department issued an advisory warning that moderate to heavy rains are likely in Delhi for the next few hours.
Incessant rains have left several parts of the capital flooded.
Total rainfall till 8.30am Indian Standard Time was recorded at Safdarjung as 153.7 mm and at Palamu airport as 93 mm.

Today's latest news: Civil Aviation Minister 'personally monitors' Delhi airport roof collapse
Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjar told X that he was personally monitoring the T1 roof collapse incident. “Rescue teams are at the scene. I have also instructed airlines to evacuate all affected passengers at T1. The injured have been shifted to hospital.”
“Rescue operations are still ongoing,” he wrote in the post.

Today's latest news: 1 killed, 8 injured in Delhi airport T1 collapse
At least one person was killed and eight were injured when part of the roof of Terminal 1 at Delhi's Indira Gandhi Airport collapsed onto a car early on Friday.
All flight departures from the terminal have also been suspended.
Rain continued to lash the national capital on the day, with Safdarjung station recording 228.1 mm of rainfall in the 24 hours ending at 8.30 am today.
