The Cook Government is helping Western Australian food and drink producers connect with overseas buyers as part of a week-long trade mission called Taste WA.
19 fine food and non-alcoholic beverage buyers and 12 fine wine buyers traveled to the South West, including the Perth metropolitan area, Margaret River and the Great Southern, to learn more about WA's fine food and beverage offering. I will inspect.
The mission includes buyers from China, Japan, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Taiwan.
Activities throughout the week include visits to area farms and wineries, paddock-to-plate experiences, and more.
In collaboration with Taste WA, Cambodian meat, seafood and dairy food importers will also meet with local food producers.
