This Saturday's Food, Wine and Fete promises to get the party going. You'll learn to move naturally, you'll be able to eat and drink naturally, and life will be fun, so let's make it all soca!

Vanessa James: “Not only does it celebrate the food that makes the Caribbean so special, it brings us all together to celebrate the culture. That's what food, wine and fete is all about.”
All-inclusive parties start at $125 and are held at the Grand Pavilion of historic Virginia Key Beach Park.
Vanessa James: “What's new this year is more food, so come hungry. We'll have lots of drinks and spirits, so come thirsty. We came to listen to soca music.” There are people too.”
As for the food, they'll be joined by Haitian chef Alain Lemarie, who knows a thing or two about soca.
Chef Alan Murray: “I know soca is a very, very fun music and is very loved by people in the Caribbean, especially in Trinidad. And it has quite a lot of hip movement.”
Some of you may know the chef from the Discovery+ series Luda Can't Cook.
Chef Alain Lemarie: “How's the doneness?”
Ludacris: “Below standard”
Chef Alain Lemarie: “Okay.”
Ludacris: To be honest, my grilling game is below average. ”
Chef Alain Lemarie: “Okay.”
Ludacris: “Coach Grill, my batting average is 100 percent.”
Chef Alain Lemarie: “Okay.”
Chef Alain Lemarie: “Working with Luda was really great. He's a very down-to-earth type of person. When you think of a celebrity who reaches this status, you might think he's a bit 'ridiculous,' but he… It's calm. ”
Chef Alan is excited to liven up this weekend's fete with his creations.
Chef Alain Lemarie: “It's a contaco, but it's going to be Haitian-style with Haitian spices, a little bit of spiciness, some citrus. Something that's a little bit lively and brings joy to people.”
Why not pair this fun taco with a passion fruit rum punch?
Chef Alain Lemarie: “We use Angostura Trini rum, which is also spicy. That's why I love it.”
Vanessa James: “There will be food and spirits flowing from 3 to 8 p.m. And we'll also have a drone show and live performances at the end. It's packed with Caribbean extravaganza.”
