A new fried chicken restaurant complete with graffiti walls and a retro Pac-Man gaming machine is set to open in a Norfolk market town.
ChicKing House is a “cool, fresh and funky” family restaurant serving quality fast food for takeout, delivery or dine-in.
A recent refurbishment has transformed a former hardware store in Market Place, Dereham, into a new restaurant, which opens on Friday 31st May at 4pm.

The walls are covered in graffiti art and the indoor space can seat up to 43 people in American diner-style booths.
To add to the dining experience, the restaurant is equipped with classic arcade game machines, including Pac-Man and Street Fighter II.

The menu includes fresh chicken, on the bone or boneless, burgers, wraps, chicken wings, chicken tenders and more.
Side options include hand-cut French fries, twice cooked and seasoned to your liking.
We also offer homemade desserts such as brownies and cheesecakes served with milkshakes mixed with rich soft serve ice cream.

Head chef and manager Dominic Thompson has experience in fine dining having worked in Michelin-starred restaurants and has created recipes for five sauces that offer unique flavours to add to any dish.
These include jerk barbecue, garlic ranch mayo, scotch bonnet and jalapeño, mango chutney and curry mayo.

Chick King House owner Graham Bell said: “We can't wait to finally open, everyone is looking forward to it opening.”
“There aren't many restaurants in this city, so I thought it would be a great idea to open something cool, fresh and funky.”
“We’ve made great progress over the past few months, it’s my first restaurant and everything is going well.
Opening hours are 11am to 10pm Sunday to Thursday, and 11am to 12pm Friday and Saturday.
