The oldest bread in the world
When we look into the history of bread, there is no denying that it is one of the oldest staple foods. One of the oldest traces of bread was found during excavations. In 2018, a piece of bread was found in a stone fireplace in the Black Desert of Jordan, and archaeologists believed it to be one of the oldest breads, estimated to be 14,000 years old. Interestingly, the bread looked like pita bread, but was made from grains similar to oats and barley. There were also traces of tubers in the bread, which gave it a salty taste.

The oldest noodles
Flood noodles are one of the oldest noodles in the world, originating from China. Archaeologists say the noodles were discovered along the Yellow River in China and are estimated to be 1,000 years old.
