Tonight's menu will feature specialties from around the world, including Portuguese pastries from Fall River, French patisserie from Medford and Polish paczki from Salem.

We meet the Thai-American co-owner of a small Somerville shop where a group of friends got together to start a bakery, sample the specialty cream puffs of Japanese chain Beard Papa on Newbury Street, meet an Iranian-American baker churning out Persian pistachio desserts (and lots of other goodies) in Cambridge, and meet a Dominican-American owner of a Greek bakery in Peabody (more on that later).
