Nalini wrote, “I was doing well and you interrupted me by spreading hate on my vegetarian post. I regularly promote vegetarianism and that post was just a part of it. Your reaction made it an issue for the community and hence I did not respond that day. Food choices are your own and I have no problem with that. However, it is my freedom to express and promote vegetarianism. Yes, I am a vegetarian and I understand that dairy can be cruel in some ways. I would be more proud if I was vegan.”

She further added, “You have made my post into a social issue. You have a huge fanbase so think twice before making such comments. Your words can have an impact on society and cause a lot of trouble to people like me. I accept my mistake by posting your picture and will delete it soon. DARO MAT (don't be scared) I hope you accept your mistake and delete your hatred towards me. Have a nice morning. Enjoy your breakfast.”
Swara replied to Nalini.

In response, Swara tweeted, “Let's get to the point! You got upset that I criticised your vegetarian supremacy post – clearly targeting Muslims on the day of Bakr Eid. I get it. But instead of debating me about vegetarianism, you choose to blame a breastfeeding mother for gaining weight? Are you a nutritionist?”
When did the argument start?

The controversy began a few days ago when Nalini shared a picture of a vegetarian meal on X. She had written, “Proud to be a vegetarian. No tears, no cruelty, no guilt on my plate.”
In response, Swara wrote, “I honestly don't understand this self-righteous attitude of vegetarians. Your diet consists of denying calves their mother's milk, forcefully impregnating cows and separating them from their calves to steal their milk. Eating root vegetables? It kills the entire plant! Stop showing virtue just because it's Bakr Eid! (Folded hands emoji).”
Nalini criticised Swara's figure.
Nalini then shared an image with X, a collage of old pre-wedding pictures of Swara along with her wedding and birth pictures. The caption read, “What did she eat?”. Responding to the tweet, Swara wrote, “She's had a baby. Keep it up Nalini!”
