Taylor Swift understands the meaning of gifts.
The 34-year-old pop star has reportedly been making donations at various stops on his UK Hellas tour over the past few weeks.
Rachel Biggs, CEO of Cardiff Foodbank, said in an interview published in The Guardian on Tuesday, June 25 that Swift was the driving force behind the largest individual donation the organization has ever seen. According to the BBC, the Welsh capital of Cardiff was the only city where Swift only had one concert during her Eras Tour during her 152-date European run.

Biggs declined to disclose how much he donated but said it was a big help.
“The breathing space Taylor's donation gives us means we can hold our heads up and shift our focus from the food bank to creating sustainable businesses that support people who now need help tackling the root causes of poverty and the financial support to get them on a path where they don't need our help,” Biggs told the Guardian.
Biggs said the Grammy Award winner's donation will help feed “1,200 people, three meals a day for three days — that's 10,800 meals.”
Cardiff Foodbank also thanked Swift on Instagram, posting a photo of Swift's trademark friendship bracelet with the caption, “Thank you Taylor Love Cardiff Foodbank.” In the caption, the charity said the donation was “far beyond our wildest dreams” and paid tribute to a song from Swift's 1989 album.
The Guardian also spoke to Rich Jones, CEO of St Andrews Community Network in Liverpool, which manages 11 food banks, who called Swift's donation “the most incredible gift”.

“Rising prices, increased demand and declining donations have meant we've had to cover our own food costs for a long time,” Jones said, “but Taylor Swift has essentially paid our food bills for the past 12 months, freeing us up to focus on our fundraising efforts going forward.”
On June 11, the Daily Mail reported that the “Shake It Off” hit singer made a donation to a local food bank while in the Scottish capital, Edinburgh.
“Thank you so much Taylor, you have changed Edinburgh for the better,” Edinburgh Food Project shared on Instagram.
Swift's charitable donations aren't the only thing grabbing attention while on tour: Travis Kelce recently joined her in London, a development no one saw coming.
On Sunday, June 23, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end performed onstage with the “Love Story” singer at Wembley Stadium in London.
The couple, who have been publicly dating since October 2023, coordinated in tuxedos and top hats for the show.

“I want to keep it private, but at the same time, I'm not going to hide anything,” Kelsey said of their relationship. “She's my girl, you know? She's my woman, so I'm proud of that.”
“She knows that everything she does will be a headline, but she doesn't want everyone to know about her personal life and comment on it.”
