How to increase food supply in Asuka
Just like in the real world, in the dangerous world of ASKA it is nearly impossible to survive without food and water. As you begin your journey and explore the island you will find food and water to replenish your energy, but as the game progresses it becomes much more difficult to manage your hunger and thirst.
Without these resources, players responsible for feeding their villagers will find it difficult to survive. For players who are finding it difficult to manage their food and water supplies, this guide will show you how.

How to get food in Asuka
Food is one of the first resources you will need in ASKA. You start off with a container half full of water and must explore your environment to find food.
Early food sources
mussels
Mussels attach to rocks along the shoreline and provide a good food source in the early stages.
Berry
Berries are a versatile food. They not only satisfy your hunger but also quench your thirst. You can easily find berries attached to the bushes while exploring the forest.
vegetables
While exploring the forest, you will find plenty of ready-to-eat vegetables, including onions, beetroot, carrots, garlic and cabbage.
mushroom
There are different kinds of mushrooms in the forest: normal mushrooms, yellow, grey, etc. They usually appear after it rains. However, yellow and grey mushrooms are poisonous, so to remove the negative buffs, you need to cook them first.
As you level up and gain access to the Gatherer's Pit, you'll be able to assign basic gathering jobs to NPCs who will gather vegetables for you.
How to increase food supply in Asuka
As your village expands, you will need to meet the demands of your villagers and your food supply will increase. Here are some reliable ways to ensure a steady food supply:
Agriculture
As you collect vegetables, you'll also get seeds for each one. Luckily, you can use these seeds to grow more vegetables on your farm. To get started on farming, however, you'll first need to actually build a farm. Once you've built your farm, assign villagers to manage farming-related tasks.
hunting
Another effective source of food is meat, but for this you need to hunt. To hunt effectively, you need a hunting weapon such as a bow and arrow. Equip your weapon and look for animals such as deer to hunt. Once you find the animal, attack it and after killing the animal, use your knife to collect the meat.
To save time and effort, you can also build a Hunter's Cabin and assign an NPC to it. Just equip the NPC with hunting weapons and he will be able to hunt animals in the designated area.
fishing
Fishing is an important source of food, as it can be enjoyed all year round. However, you will need a fishing rod and some bait, such as meat or berries. Once you have these resources, equip your fishing rod, go to the shore and cast your rod. Wait for the fish to take the bait, and then use your knife to harvest the meat.
Similar to the Hunter's Hut, you can also build a Fishing Hut and assign an NPC to it – make sure to build it near a shoreline and equip a villager with a fishing rod and bait.

How to cook at Asuka
Vegetables and fruits can be eaten raw, but meat and certain mushrooms must be cooked beforehand to remove their negative effects. To cook food, you will need to set up a barbecue grill on your campfire. The resources you will need are:
8 sticks
Sticks can be collected by cutting down long sticks.
4x rope
Ropes can be made using two fibers.
Once you have these resources, you will be able to set up a barbecue over your campfire.
Additionally, to make the cooking process even easier, you can assign a villager to cook, who will handle all the tasks related to cooking and ensure a steady supply of cooked food without requiring your constant attention.
How to get water in Asuka
In ASKA, water is an essential resource to manage your thirst. Berries are helpful at first, but as you progress it becomes essential to ensure a steady supply of water. Early on, you will also find natural collectors while exploring. These collectors collect rainwater that can be used to hydrate, but the downside is that they only cover a small portion of your thirst level.
Building a Rainwater Collector
To ensure a more reliable source of water, build a Rainwater Harvesters. Rainwater Harvesters collect more water than natural harvesters and can keep you and several villagers hydrated. To build a Rainwater Harvesters, you will need the following resources:
6 sticks
They can be collected by cutting long sticks.
3 long sticks
It can be collected by chopping down trees.
Building a Well
As your village continues to grow, so does your need for water. Wells help meet the hydration needs of a larger villager population. To build a well, you will need the following resources:
12 small stones
It can be harvested directly from the ground.
20 gems
They can be collected by cutting long sticks.
Wells can only be built on top of natural water collectors, so make sure your base is near a water collector.
