Hi Toronto , Most of us have been touched or inspired by Afrobeat singer Mohbad’s music @iammohbad . He was a very creative sound musician. He had many Afrobeat songs that were hits …
The song *KPK *, was a party dancer .
The song *Backside* was lit 🔥
The song *Peace* gave this page its first 9000 views , ( we made a video then and he shared it on his page ) .
The song Sorry , is heart touching ,
He sang songs about the Afrobeat “music industry” and cultism oppressing him . He had no place to go for help , on a trip to England after his performance, he told a UK resident of his pains .. but whenever he mentioned it , they downplayed his statements. He filed a police complaint, but the police didn’t take no action .
Choked in a contract with a record label , he tried to leave as a result of abuse, then when he finally left the record label , they killed him.
Following his demise which has brought a world wide attention, different afrobeat communities around the world are engaging on a peaceful protest, for all authorities around the world to prevail in bringing justice to those responsible for his death.
In alliance with other Afrobeat communities around the world gathering, to seeks justice for his death , the Toronto Afrobeat community have decided to gather for a peaceful Candlelight Procession and Tribute to Mohbad at
3395 Weston Road , North York , M9M 2V9 Ontario. On
