FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers today unveiled the state-of-the-art Baptist Health Iceplex in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., as part of the revitalization of the historic FTL War Memorial.

The Baptist Health IcePlex will be open to the public starting Thursday, March 21st from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with afternoon and evening programs every day for the remainder of March. South Florida communities can sign up for a variety of programs including public skating sessions, Panthers Skate and Hockey Academy spring classes, adult hockey leagues, summer camps, “Try Hockey for Free” events, and more. The Panthers will host a community festival on Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., where residents can sample some programs for free, enjoy food trucks and games, and enjoy the newly constructed You can see the Baptist Health Iceplex directly. The Panthers will hold their first Learn to Play session at the Baptist Health IcePlex from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
The South Florida community can look forward to the public opening of “The Federal” in late April. Managed by Knallhart Management Group, The Federation is a full-service restaurant and bar with an outdoor patio located within the Baptist Health Iceplex overlooking the holiday park's pickleball courts and roller rink.
In addition to traditional co-ed hockey opportunities, the Panthers will dedicate on-ice time and resources to building a full-spectrum women's hockey program, starting with the “Girls Learn to Play” series.
