Plan for westbound Interstate 10 and southbound Loop 101 to be closed in the East Valley this weekend.
The improvement project will require weekend closures and lane restrictions along portions of expressways in the Phoenix area, including westbound Interstate 10 in the Chandler and Tempe areas.
The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is encouraging drivers to allow extra travel time and consider alternative routes if necessary during the following weekend restrictions in effect from May 3rd to May 6th: is recommended.
Westbound I-10 will be closed between Loop 202 (SanTan Freeway) and US 60 (Superstition Freeway) from 10:00 PM on Friday, May 3rd until 4:00 AM on Monday, May 6th due to the I-10 Broadway Curve Improvement Project. ) was closed between. Southbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) will be closed between Guadalupe Road and Ray Road from 9:00 p.m. Friday, May 3rd until 5:00 a.m. Monday, May 6th for pavement improvement work. Both southbound Loop 101 ramps on US 60 were closed. The southbound Loop 101 entrance ramp at Broadway and Baseline Road was also closed. Detour: Take the exit before the road closure and consider using the southbound Price side road before crossing the road closure to connect to southbound Loop 101. Other local routes include southbound Dobson Road and McClintock Drive.
US 60 (Grand Avenue) from 11:00 PM on Friday, May 3rd to 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 4th and from 11:00 PM on Saturday, May at 163rd Street (W. of Loop 303) and Center It was narrowed to one lane in both directions between Streets (Wittman District).
