Ontario Tech University's Advanced Energy Research Center (ERC) laboratory will be renamed the Bruce Power Thermal-Hydraulics Laboratory, thanks to a $250,000 donation from Canada's largest nuclear power plant.
The ERC also houses the school's nuclear engineering program as well as other energy labs and learning spaces. It will serve as a hub for Ontario Institute of Technology's uniquely Canadian education programs and research in geothermal, hydrogen, natural gas, nuclear, solar and wind energy technologies.
