Originally on South Korea's tvN network, the series stars Byun Woo-seok as Ryu Sung-jae and Kim Hye-yoon as Im Sol. This drama features a gorgeous supporting cast, including Lee Seung-hyub as Baek In-hyuk, Seo Hye-won as Lee Hyun-joo, Song Ji-ho as Im Geum, and Kim Won-hye as Ryu Geun-deok. Masu. In this program, Korean singer-songwriter Kwon Yuri makes a cameo appearance as herself. “Lovely Runner,” directed by Yoon Jong-ho and written by Lee Si-eun, was first broadcast on April 8, 2024. Lovely Runner releases two new episodes every week (Monday to Tuesday) and plans to release eight episodes by the end of this month. The final episode is scheduled to air on May 28, 2024.

In the fourth episode, there is a scene where Kim Tae Sung and Im Sol spend time together at Shihyang, a pet-friendly restaurant in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province. This is a popular spot with a pet-specific menu and pet beds near the table. Another scene in episode 5 depicts Ryu Sung-jae teaching Im-sol how to ride a bicycle at Banghwasuryudjeong in Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. Several other scenes were also filmed at Hwahongmun Gate, so the fortress seems to be a favorite filming location for Lovely Runner.

Episode 5 takes viewers to a local grocery store, Fahon Mart. There, Ryu Sung-jae and Im Geum bond over South Korea's victory in the Olympic Games. Monted, a dessert cafe located in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, appears as Im Sol's home in the drama. Episode 2 shows Im Sol visiting a local coffee and cake shop, Canmore's Kimchon branch, with Lee Hyun Joo. Another scene in Gyeonggi Province starring Ryu Sung Jae, Kim Tae Sung, Im Sol, and Lee Hyun Joo was filmed at Cafe Bene's Mangpo Station branch.

Some scenes of 'Lovely Runner' were filmed in various locations in Seoul. In one scene, Ryu Sung Jae and Im Sol are seen enjoying dinner and watching TV at a popular Korean restaurant, Ikseon branch in Bunsit, Namdo. Another scene shows Ryu Sung-jae drinking with his girlfriend's father at another local restaurant in Seoul, Bum-Nul. Soegochip, a popular Seoul restaurant specializing in grilled food, also appears on location for “Lovely Runner.'' According to the show's timeline, this store is run by Ryu Sung-jae's father.

In the first episode, Im Sol stops the ghost of Ryu Sung Jae from crossing the Geumgang Bridge in Gongju. This bridge, built in 1932, is the longest bridge across the southern part of the Han River, connecting Gongju-eup and Jangji-myeon.
