A renowned artist and a local coffee shop have collaborated to launch a limited edition Fellow Travel Mug featuring original artwork.
This travel mug allows purchasers to own a piece of Jasper's artistic heritage and support UpLift. Mural Festival. For every mug sold, $5 will be donated to Jasper Festival.
The original artwork was created by Montreal-based muralist Fluke, who created one of the murals during the inaugural festival in 2022.
“It was an honor to participate in the UpLift! Mural Festival and experience Jasper's unique environment,” Fluke said in a news release.
“The mural I created, titled 'COLLIDE,' embodies the majesty of Jasper's nature and the resilient spirit of its people.”
Fluke's “COLLIDE” mural is located in the Andromeda Coffee building at 607 Patricia Street and depicts “a captivating expression of the forces that shaped the Rocky Mountains.”
The artwork features iconic elements such as a barrel-shaking train, a diving eagle grabbing a rainbow trout, the twinkling Northern Lights, a shining sun, and two rams in a collision of energies and contrasts.
Andromeda Coffee continues to support Fluke's artistic vision by featuring new artwork named “Matilde” on its travel mugs.
“We're thrilled to be able to incorporate Fluke's seminal art into our limited edition mugs,” Andromeda Coffee's Sherry Kobel said in a news release.
“This collaboration celebrates the spirit of Jasper and supports local artistic endeavors that uplift our community.”
The limited edition travel mug featuring Fluke artwork is available only at Andromeda Coffee in Jasper as of May 1st.
