THE FLATS – Georgia Tech Athletics has concluded the final day of competition for the ACC Outdoor Championships.
Senior Anna Witherspoon kicked off Tech's running events in the women's 100-meter hurdles. Witherspoon placed sixth with a time of 13.54 and earned All-ACC Second Team honors.
In the men's 400-meter event, Winston DeCure III set a new personal best time of 47.06 seconds.
Eric Singleton Jr. placed fifth in the men's 100-meter dash. Singleton posted his time of 10.47 and earned All-ACC Second Team honors.
Mary Brady finished in the top 10 in the women's 5,000m final. Brady finished ninth with a time of 16:05.12. Katie Arwood also competed in the event and she finished the race with a new personal best time of 16:44.13.
Today, the men's and women's 4×400 relay teams ran their best times of the season. The boys team of Jameson Miller, Sidney McReynolds, Kayden Terrell and DeCuir placed fifth with a time of 3:07.08. The women's team, consisting of Lydia Group, Kayla Rose, Jill Catton and Gracie Marston, clocked a time of 3:44.42.
The team also competed in the women's 400m hurdles. With a fourth-place time of 57.73, Troupe not only earned All-ACC Second Team honors and set a new personal best time, but also placed him fourth on Georgia Tech's list of all-time outdoor performers in the 400-meter hurdles. .
