What the people most need in order to become president in 2025 is less. But both the incumbent and his predecessor intend to intensify the unconstitutional expansion of the executive branch that has become a bipartisan tradition.

It preceded President Donald Trump, whose lawlessness was as haphazard and opportunistic as he was. Joe Biden's unrestricted presidency is ideological and based on perverted principles. In his later years, progressives like him are growing impatient with the institutional obstacles to progress (Congress and the courts), their policy preferences being achieved through unfettered presidential action.
