Talcott said several other companies have seen their stocks rise in recent weeks to fill the void: Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), Sen. Tim Scott (R-Fla.); North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum and Representative Elise Stefanik (R-New York) appear to have retained their spots on the shortlist.
“One thing I would say is, when I talk to people close to Mr. Trump and people in the Trump campaign, there is no global consensus at this point,” Talcott said. “Will Donald Trump ultimately choose someone? [they can bring voters to his coalition], or maybe you just like that person? Personally, I think he leans towards the latter. ”
