Hays Travel has appointed Kelly Green as its new assistant cruise director, who will join the team at the end of May
Mr Green, who joined the agency from Mr Tui in 2020, was appointed independent group business development manager for the Chubu region in March 2022 and left the agency in January 2024 to join start-up agency Club Club. He became the head of retail division at Voyage.
Catriona Parsons, Head of Cruise at Hays Travel, said: “Kelly has a wide range of experience, including 14 years in financial services, a strong business background, and an excellent understanding of the travel industry. The last two years will be particularly insightful.
Mr. Green will be responsible for working with Mr. Parsons to drive growth in the cruise business across Hays Travel Group, including the in-house travel company Vista's cruise products.
She also manages all cruise commercial relations and the cruise contact center. Mr Parsons added: “I have been impressed by Kelly’s professionalism and her ambition to grow Cruise across our business. We are delighted to welcome Kelly to the team and look forward to what we can achieve with her addition. looking forward to it.”
Bookings confirmed as Hays Travel achieves cruise goal
Last month, Vista met all of its first quarter booking goals, exceeding its original goal by nearly 50%.
The cruise tour operator, which relaunched earlier this year, was set up to support agents and drive sales, with sales director Kathleen Molloy citing the agency's recent success as a result of its cruise specialization. He cited investment in a dedicated team at home.
