As summer approaches and many families head off in search of sunny vacations, we're hearing more and more about travel etiquette.
It can also be a highly divisive topic on social media sites like Reddit and Facebook.
However, one airline that once made headlines has taken a very lenient attitude when it comes to travel etiquette.
In fact, the airline, which launched one-off flights in 2003, offered flyers a very unique experience.

I mean, everyone has heard about nudist beaches, and they are very popular among certain communities.
But a nudist flight? Well, that's certainly going too far, right?
You say so, but the planes that took to the skies in 2003 provided a pretty fun experience for nudist enthusiasts.
This unique flight between Miami and Cancun, Mexico was set up by Castaways Travel and of course attracted a lot of media attention in the process.
The Federal Aviation Administration, which took off in May 2003, declined to get involved in the matter, saying flying naked was not a “safety issue.”
So how exactly did the naked part work?
Well, as you probably guessed, passengers had to keep their clothes on while checking in and going through security at the airport.
Yes, naked flight actually happened. (Naked Air) So the last thing a family of five wants to see when they're jetting off to Europe is a bunch of naked lovers.
Even when passengers became comfortable on board, they had to keep their clothes on, and everyone could take them off only until the plane reached cruising altitude.
Well, the exact same person as the pilot doesn't always have to be fully clothed.
Ninety passengers were permitted to use the naked air service, all of whom paid $499 for the privilege.
Regular fliers know that planes can also be quite cold, so special care is taken to ensure a warm temperature inside the cabin.

After placing their clothes in the overhead bin or under their seats, all passengers were given a towel to keep their bare buttocks from touching the seat.
To prevent any dangerous accidents, hot drinks were not served on board…of course.
And one question you're probably wondering: nude flights didn't allow passengers to join the Mile High Club.
Despite receiving a lot of attention at the time, there was only one naked air flight.
People online couldn't believe their ears, with one writing: “Smells…hmmm” and another saying: “Naturists are never the kind of people you want to see naked.”
And a third jokingly said: “Well, I hope the sheets were cleaned (or burned) afterwards.”
