NCAA Tournament Full Schedule
FLATS – The Georgia Tech baseball team has earned the No. 3 seed in the Athens Regional tournament for the 2024 NCAA baseball tournament, the NCAA Baseball Committee announced Monday.
The Yellow Jackets (31-23) are clean and bringing back the Old Fashioned Hate in the postseason, where they will join No. 1 seed Georgia, No. 2 seed University of North Carolina at Wilmington and No. 4 seed Army.
This will be Georgia Tech's 35th appearance in the NCAA Tournament and its fourth in the last five years.
The Jackets are 77-69 (.527 winning percentage) in the NCAA Tournament and 69-58 (.548 winning percentage) in the first round of regional tournaments.
Georgia Tech will play its Athens Regional opener against UNCW on Friday, May 31. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and the Georgia Tech Game Day app.

Georgia Tech heads to Athens in the postseason for the first time since finishing as runner-up in 2008. Georgia Tech has a career record of 168-219-2 ties against Georgia, 2-2 against the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (last played in 1987) and 2-1-1 ties against Army (last played in 1961).
