Searchmont Resort will be catering the popular train for a job fair next week.
On June 5, the Sioux Community Career Center will be hosting a job fair in partnership with Searchmont Resort.
The job fair will be held at the Salt Community Career Centre on Queen Street from 10am to 2pm.
Searchmont Resort will cater for the Agawa Tour Train from July through October and expects to employ 15 to 20 food and beverage attendants during the season.
The position is a full-time contract position with an anticipated start date of July 24th, with the possibility of continued employment through the winter months at Searchmont Resort.
Job Description and Primary Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing food, performing light cooking, plating and serving food and alcohol.
Requirements:
Kitchen and waitstaff experience is an asset, but training will be provided. Smart Serve and Safe Food Handling certifications are a must. Reliable transportation to arrive on-site at 429 Carmen's Way by 5:45 AM. Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including evenings and weekends.
