According to reports, the Princess of Wales may make a surprise appearance at the King's annual birthday parade, scheduled for Saturday, June 15.

However, a royal source told The Daily Beast that “no date has been decided for Kate to return to royal duties.”
“In fact, I don't think her memo suggests she's planning to rush off to headquarters to inspect next month's parade,” the source added.
Another source told the outlet: “It seems a bit far-fetched that Kate would suddenly appear on the balcony on Saturday.”

The return may come after Middleton apologised for missing last weekend's final dress rehearsal of the firing of the colours, known as the Colonel's Review. As an honorary colonel of the Irish Guards, she expressed her regret in the letter: “It remains a great honour to be a colonel and I am extremely disappointed that I will not be able to salute at this year's Colonel's Review. Please convey my apologies to the whole regiment, but I hope to be able to represent you all again in the near future.”
Meanwhile, Prince William continues to focus on the environment and community, recently visiting Cardiff Metropolitan University and meeting companies working on seaweed innovations.
Among the companies he was involved with was Car-y-Mor, a seaweed farm that produces snacks and other products.

Owen Haynes, chief executive of Car y Moi, said: “Coastal areas tend to be dominated by tourism and holiday homes and the problem with that is that sooner or later communities collapse – clinics close, schools close and no local people can afford to buy housing.”
