Summer Spectacular features kitten carnival, dominoes, IMAX movies and STEAM activities
SAN JOSE, Calif., June 13, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Tech Interactive, a world-renowned science, technology and education center in the heart of Silicon Valley, invites visitors of all ages to its Summer Spectacular in downtown San Jose. With hands-on STEAM activities, fun workshops, blockbuster movies and carnival-themed events, Tech Interactive has something for everyone to enjoy all summer long. This year's theme pays tribute to the Santa Clara County Fair's monumental 80th anniversary.
Visitors can play, tinker, explore and create as they wander The Tech Interactive's 130,000 square feet of exhibit space and take part in a series of exciting new carnival-themed challenges and activities. Featured summer workshops like Domino Distraction, Bridgetopia sponsored by Stanford Medicine Children's Health and Tightrope Walkers offer unique opportunities to learn about engineering, physics and more. Tech Tales: Pet Weekend
June 15-16, 2024
Kick off your summer with the adorable kittens at Mini Cat Town. Make your own cat toys and observe the playful kittens in action. To ensure the best time with the kittens, pre-book a 15-minute cuddle session. Admission includes a kitten cuddle session, a day pass to The Tech Interactive, an IMAX movie ticket, and a donation to Mini Cat Town.
Tech Topple: Kinetic Carnival
July 9th to 13th, 2024
Witness the incredible record-breaking domino builds and falls at The Tech Interactive's Domino Week. Watch YouTube sensation Flash Domino and his team Reactica build Kinetic Carnival, the only amusement park in the world that's built to be destroyed. Watch them build all week, take part in a domino-building workshop, and watch it all fall on Saturday, July 13th. Admission is free. Buy tickets here.
Frozen: Summer Song Celebration
Saturday, July 20, 2024 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
It may be hot outside, but it's so cool when tech interactives transform into a magical, icy world during Disney's Frozen Sing-Along in partnership with Broadway San Jose. Sing along to your favorite tunes and dance along with Elsa, Anna and Olaf. Costumes are encouraged. Museum admission is free.

Escape the heat and enjoy classic, educational and new release films in the cool, air-conditioned comfort of our IMAX Dome Theatre. Please note that film titles are subject to change, so check website for up-to-date showtimes.
