This cruise includes gourmet meals, live entertainment, accommodations on a five-star ship and many other perks at a great price.
Travelers wanting to visit the Aloha State from Vancouver can avoid having to hop on a plane thanks to Holland America Line's (HAL) affordable fare deals.
For a two-week stay in Hawaii, which includes fine dining, five-star accommodations, entertainment and flights from Vancouver International Airport (YVR), tourists typically pay several hundred dollars per day.
But HAL's cruise this fall is cheaper, at just over $150 per day, including all of the above.
Holland America is known for its mid-sized ships that offer a more traditional onboard experience, and fans of the cruise line enjoy sailing on ships they get to know well during the voyage, and the chance to speak with the captain and cruise director.
The five-star Koningsdam will depart Canada Place at 3pm on Saturday, October 5th, for a six-day voyage to Honolulu, Oahu. While that may seem like a long time to spend on board, many travelers will enjoy exploring the ship, trying the various restaurants, watching the fantastic live entertainment and just relaxing on the open sea.
On board, the ship offers a variety of amenities, including two swimming pools, live theater, tennis courts, signature spa treatments, movies under the stars, basketball courts, video arcades, casinos, and more. The “Pinnacle” class ships also offer the option of creating wine blends from a selection of single-vineyard red wines.
The ship also houses Honolulu's popular tourist information center, so you won't have to rush to get to the ship after a day in port, and the ship arrives early, at 8am, and doesn't depart until 11pm the next day.
Guests can enjoy an overnight stay on Oahu followed by the option to stay a second night at Nawiliwili on Kauai.
The ship will stop in Kona and Hilo on the Big Island before returning across the Pacific Ocean to Vancouver.
The cruise ship will disembark at Canada Place on Tuesday, October 22nd.

What is included in the price of a Holland America Line Vancouver to Hawaii cruise?
Most cabin categories are still available on this Holland voyage, including Inside (Interior), Ocean View, Veranda (Balcony), Vista Suite and Neptune Suite. Only the Signature Suite is sold out (see slide 2).
The cost of an “inside” or interior cabin for two is $5,366.64, or $2,683.32 per person. For a 17-night voyage, the per diem rate per person is $157.84 (see slide 3). This is the cheapest option for two people.
Your cruise fare includes transportation, gourmet meals, entertainment, snacks and accommodation on a beautiful 5-star ship. The only thing it doesn't include is alcohol, but you can save money by purchasing a drinks package.
Hawaii offers a variety of natural gems to explore on each island, as well as plenty of places to dine, shop and enjoy live shows. From the peak of Mauna Kea to the approachable schools of giant manta rays, from Lahaina's rich history to the beautiful beaches of Waikiki, the islands are bursting with tropical beauty.
