Following the Indian Table Tennis team's improved world rankings leading to them qualifying for the Paris Olympics 2024 for the first time, leading sports technology company Stupa Sports Analytics in collaboration with the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) and with the approval of the Sports Authority of India (SAI) organized a Performance Analysis Camp for the Indian Men's Table Tennis Team and Indian Women's Table Tennis Team.
The camp, which took place from June 7 to 16, marks a crucial phase in the Indian table tennis team's preparations for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The 10-day camp saw participation from well-known players like Sharat Kamal, Harmeet Desai, Manav Thakkar, Manika Batra, Archana Kamath and Sreeja Akra. In addition, reserve players G. Sathyan and Aihika Mukherjee also participated in the camp. Stupa's analytical expertise played a key role in helping the team clarify their strategy to face the best players in the world.
Stupa is committed to supporting table tennis in India, exemplified by co-hosting the WTT Star Contender in India which saw Sreeja Akra qualify for the Olympic Games, and is also contributing to the preparations for the 2024 Paris Olympics, providing advanced performance analysis and data support to the Indian team.
Deepak Malik, Co-founder and COO, Stupa Sports Analytics and former coach of the Indian table tennis team, oversaw all analytical requirements during the camp and provided valuable suggestions and inputs to both the players and coaching staff based on the data derived from Stupa's smart AI solutions.

The Paris Olympics will open on July 26, 2024, with table tennis matches scheduled to begin on July 27. The gold medal matches for the women's and men's singles are scheduled for August 3 and 4, respectively.
