Eco.mio, a Berlin-based B2B startup that helps companies meet their climate goals and reduce business travel costs, has raised seed funding in what it describes as a “high seven-figure” round.
The funding was led by IBB Ventures, Identity.vc and Hans(wo)men Group, and is backed by N&V Capital, Partners in Clime, and several private investors.
Eco.mio, which was founded in 2021, said it would use the funding to expand outside Germany and add new products for hotels and car rentals, as well as solutions related to CO2 taxation and budgeting.

The company offers a solution that integrates with existing booking systems to encourage employees to choose greener travel options. Partners include Cytric by Amadeus, SAP Concur and BCD consultancy Advito. Eco.mio says corporate clients using its solution have reduced their CO2 emissions by 26%.
“This funding will enable us to scale our solutions to become a leader in Europe and significantly expand our product portfolio,” said co-founder and CEO Katharina Rieder.
“Our investors' support will significantly accelerate our vision of making sustainability a core component of every business trip.”
Till Klein, co-founder of Identity.vc, added: “Eco.mio's ability to integrate directly into business customers' existing systems makes its solution extremely valuable, which was a key factor in our investment decision.”
