Eppley Airport recorded a record number of passengers in May, with 487,500 passengers carried, 349 more than the previous record set in June 2018.

This latest milestone comes as the summer travel season begins, Berkshire Hathaway's shareholder meeting and increased flight options at the airport.

Eppley Airfield is seeing new records for passenger numbers, with some passengers still having difficulty finding their way around the airport.
Work on the airport's modernisation will continue until 2028. The canopy project is still under construction, with the upper glass cover due to be installed later this year. Further renovation work is expected to take place within Eppley Airport over the coming years, including temporary walls, construction areas and exposed ceilings.
