A video of a Punjabi girl expressing her admiration for Kashmir has been much appreciated and widely shared. The girl looked adorable in a red dress as she rode a shikara on the Dal Lake praising Kashmir. According to a PTI report, the adorable girl has been identified as Pihu.
The viral video begins with Pihu's father asking her where she is, to which she replies, “Kashmir.” As the video progresses, she says in Punjabi that her father took her to Kashmir because it was too hot in Jalandhar, describing it as “Thandi Jaga” (cold place).
Pihu goes on to say that Kashmir has both pleasant and cold climates. “Dad, this is not Kashmir, this is heaven,” she says.
Near the end of the video, Pihu can be seen blowing a flying kiss and saying, “I love Kashmir.”

The video, which politician Sajid Yousuf Shah shared on X on June 20, has garnered mixed reactions. One user commented, “A masterpiece for those who are still undecided about visiting this 'Paradise on Earth' that we call 'Maej Kasir' (Mother Kashmir).” Another wrote, “Very cute and adorable girl. Her facial expressions and the way she speaks are awe-inspiring to watch. She will rock SM in the coming days.”
“So cute. I would love to visit Kashmir one day,” commented a third user.
In February, a video of twin sisters reporting fresh snowfall in Kashmir went viral on social media. In the viral video, the twin sisters are seen greeting viewers and expressing how much they are looking forward to the snow in Kashmir. They described the snow-capped valleys as “jannat” and “dhoodh ki leherain.”
The video was shared on X by business tycoon Anand Mahindra.
