Six people have been killed in Ukrainian drone and missile attacks and at least one more was killed in a second day of Russian airstrikes on Ukraine's second-largest city, Kharkiv.
Five Ukrainian missiles were shot down in the Russian-annexed port city of Sevastopol on the Crimean peninsula on Sunday, causing shrapnel to kill five people, two of them children, the city's Moscow-appointed governor, Mikhail Razvozhayev, said. More than 100 people were injured.
Three Ukrainian drones attacked the town of Glyvoron in Russia's Belgorod region, which borders Ukraine, killing one person and wounding three, the region's governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said.
Russia's state news agency RIA Novosti, citing the health ministry, said 124 people were injured in Sevastopol.
Fragment from the falling rocket sparked a forest fire measuring more than 150 square meters (1,600 square feet) and engulfed one home, the agency said, adding that a fifth missile exploded over the city.
The Russian Defense Ministry said both Ukraine and the United States were “responsible for the deliberate missile attacks against civilians.” It said the Ukrainian attack used US-supplied ATACMS missiles.
Air defense forces shot down 33 Ukrainian drones over the western Ukrainian regions of Bryansk, Smolensk, Lipetsk and Tula. No casualties were reported.

Sunday's attack came after Russia struck Kharkiv with four airstrikes on Saturday afternoon, hitting a five-story residential building and killing three people.
Regional Governor Oleh Shniekhbov said 41 people were injured and receiving treatment as of Sunday.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in a video address after the attack on Saturday, called on Ukraine's partners to strengthen their air defenses.
“For Ukraine, we really need modern air defense systems like Patriot, accelerated training of F-16 fighter pilots, and most importantly, sufficient range of our weapons,” he said.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mykola Oreshchuk said two Russian missiles were shot down over the Kiev region last night, with falling shrapnel injuring two people.
Vadim Filashkin, governor of Ukraine's partially occupied Donetsk region, said two people were killed and four wounded in Saturday's Russian attack.
In other developments, the Ukrainian Navy released photos on Sunday confirming the destruction of a warehouse in Russia's southern Krasnodar region that was used to launch and store Iranian-designed Shahed drones.
Navy officials said a drill instructor and a cadet were killed in the attack on Friday night. Moscow has not yet commented on the reports, but officials said its air defenses shot down a number of drones in the area on Friday night.
