Chili's® Grill & Bar introduces Chili's Big Smasher BurgerTime, a refreshed version of the cult-favorite BurgerTime© arcade game where fans battle fast food villains for a chance to win free burgers for life. In the restaurant brand's first-ever video game, art imitates life as players are challenged to save humanity from overpriced fast food burgers. Playing as Joe ChiliHead, fans must build as many Big Smasher Burgers as they can while dodging fast food villains to complete six levels and earn delicious prizes.

From the introduction of the new Big Smasher Burger on the 3 For Me® menu for just $10.99 (familiar fast food flavors like Thousand Island dressing, lettuce, pickles, red onion and American cheese sandwiched in a hand-smashed burger) to taking on the “evil fast food syndicate” with Chili's Big Smasher Burger Time, the grill & bar shows no signs of slowing down in its fight to offer consumers better value in both quality and price compared to its quick-service rivals. Through July 14, eligible fans who log in to or create a My Chili's Rewards account can enter the Chili's Big Smasher BurgerTime contest at chilisburgertime.com. Players will build their Big Smasher one ingredient at a time to improve their high score, reflecting the real-life pace of a Chili's restaurant where, on average, a burger is sold every second. The Chili's Big Smasher BurgerTime game is a faithful modern rendition of the original arcade game, with the look, gameplay and scoring all modified to fit today's technology, with a near-exact recreation.

Developed in collaboration with creative agency Jon Marshall @ Daughters and digital-first marketing firm Media.Monks, the revamped BurgerTime game meets the needs of modern gamers with increased game speed, bonuses for collecting items from the Chili's 3 for Me menu, improved sound and overall enhanced visuals. Players will also encounter new enemies in each level – fictional fast-food mascots with specific skill sets designed to make life difficult for our pepper heroes.
The player with the highest overall score at the end of the contest will be crowned the Chili's Big Smasher BurgerTime Champion and will receive free Chili's burgers for life* as well as a limited edition Chili's Big Smasher BurgerTime arcade cabinet. The second and third highest overall scorers will also win a Chili's Big Smasher BurgerTime arcade cabinet. The first 250 players to earn the 3 For Me Bonus in the game will receive a Chili's gift card for a free 3 For Me meal at any Chili's.
