According to the Telegraph, her memory loss is a direct result of the incident, but is believed to be temporary.

Asked about his wife's health as she left the hospital, Anne's husband, Sir Timothy Laurence, told reporters in a video released by X that read, “She's doing well. She's recovering slowly but surely.” Laurence also reportedly brought his wife some sweets from home.
Princess Anne has reportedly cancelled all scheduled royal engagements this week.
Anne is King Charles' only sister. She was reportedly injured when she was hit by a horse while walking in the grounds of Gatcombe Park on the evening of Sunday, June 23. Anne's daughter Zara Tindall and son Peter Phillips were in the grounds at the time of the accident.

Princess Anne is said to have cancelled all of her official engagements, including a state visit and a visit to Canada, scheduled for at least this week. According to the New York Post, a spokesperson for Princess Anne said, “On medical advice, Princess Anne's plans for this week will be postponed. Princess Anne apologises to anyone who may have been inconvenienced or disappointed by this.”
Meanwhile, Princess Anne is expected to remain in hospital “for the rest of the week” recovering from her injuries. Buckingham Palace said in a statement that the princess “remains under observation in Southmead Hospital as a precautionary measure” and is expected to “make a full and speedy recovery.” Prince Charles and the royal family have reportedly been “kept updated” on Anne's condition.
